Busy but nothing got done
Ever had one of those days where you’ve been busy all day… but at the end of it you think:
“What did I actually do?”
You weren’t lazy.
You were constantly doing things.
But nothing really feels finished.
Because everything comes in pieces now.
Messages. Notifications. Tasks. Interruptions.
So your attention is constantly switching.
And switching all day doesn’t always feel like progress.
Even when you’ve done a lot.
Then the guilt creeps in:
“I should’ve done more.”
Even when you barely stopped.
But not everything shows up neatly at the end of a day.
Some days are just about holding things together.
And that still counts.
Busy doesn’t always mean behind.
And rest doesn’t need to be earned by productivity.
Because sometimes the most productive thing you did today…
was simply getting through it.
And that matters more than it feels like it does.
